NGHFB Chasing Yesterday

The end product is great but it was a pain in the arse!

Noel Gallagher has announced the title of his upcoming album: ‘Chasing Yesterday’ ushered by the single ‘In the Heat of the Moment’.

The single will be released on November 16th, 2014 and the album will be available in early 2015, probably in March.

The British songwriter took the production of the album in his own hands, and described de process as somewhat uncomfortable: “I didn’t like it to be honest. I’d taken it to my producer, Dave Sardy, who has worked with me for the last 10 years and for whatever reasons he couldn’t do it… I enjoyed the freedom with it but I didn’t enjoy managing the sessions. The end product is great but it was a pain in the arse”, according to The Guardian.

Same source informed Gallagher ruled out any possibility of an Oasis reunion next year during Glastonbury. He reportedly denied any chance of a free distribution of the álbum as well, arguing the production of his albums is anything but cheap:

No, my records in particular cost too much fucking money to make to give them away for free… If anything I want to put the prices up: Noel Gallagher.

In addition to the album, details of a UK arena tour were also announced according to NME. This source also shared the track list of the album:
