Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez can finally train with his new club FC Barcelona even though he lost the appeal against the four-month ban he received from FIFA for biting Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini.
Suarez appealed before the Tribunal Arbitral du Sport (Switzerland) but the saction was upheld. No specifics have been released regarding the Tribunal ruling so far. According to BBC, Suarez’s lawyers say the decision means he can play for Uruguay in friendlies against Japan, South Korea and Saudi Arabia in September and October, while Barcelona have a pre-season game against Mexican side Club Leon at the Nou Camp on Monday.
Suarez’s disgraceful record:
The notorious footballer joined Barcelona this summer in a £75,000,000.00 transfer from Liverpool. He’s now able to join the first team in the training grounds, although his new club has not specified which measures they will take to prevent him from biting opponents.
