After tonight play-offs, the line-up for the final stage of the 2012 UEFA European Football Championship is ready. Poland and Ukraine (co-hosts) had been seeded, and Croatia, Czech Republic, Portugal and Republic of Ireland (absent from the championship since 1988) have just rubber-stamped their passport for the competition.
16 teams will compete next summer for the title and the much valuable entry to the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup to be hosted by Brazil.

The draw for the group stage will take place in Kyiv on December 2nd, 2011. The kick-off is scheduled for June 9th, 2012 in Warsaw. Co-hosts Poland will face a team to be determined in the National Stadium. Kyiv will host the final match of the championship on July 1st, 2012.
Update: Seeds for the final draw revealed:
Germany, Italy, Russia and England have been placed in pot #2 which means those teams can’t face each other until the quarter-final of Euro 2012.
Pot #1 has Poland, Ukraine, Spain and Netherlands. Teams in pot #1 could face teams in pot #2 during the group stage.
Croatia, Greece, Portugal and Sweden are in pot #3, while Denmark, France, Czech Republic and Republic of Ireland are in pot #4.
Four groups will be formed in the final draw, each one with one team from each pot.
