Donald A. Gorske (57) is the holder of the world record of having eaten the most Big Mac™ hamburgers in his entire life.
Gorske, from Wisconsin (U.S.A.) ate his first Big Mac™ on May 17th, 1972, according to The Daily Mail. Just a couple of days ago he ate his 25,000th Big Mac™. Apart from being a McDonald’s™ enthusiast, Gorske used to work as a scheduling officer at Waupun Correctional Institution.
He’s slim, takes regular walks, and was recently given a clean bill of health by his doctor, according to CBS News.
14,246 days have passed since Don had his first Big Mac™, which means he’s eaten an average of 1.754 hamburgers a day for the last 39 years. If he lives until the age of 86, he will have eaten approximately 40,000 hamburgers.
Whereas each of these hamburgers contains two beef patties, we can safely calculate Gorske has eaten more than 50,000 beef patties in his life. He’s has had more hamburgers than days lived, considering he’s lived 20,991 days since his birth on November 28th, 1953.
I reckon Don Gorske has set the bar high for all those brave souls out there who seek to break his record.
