Oops I did it again!

However, there were a few intense minutes for United as a consequence of Wes Brown’s 82nd-minute own goal.

In the end, only Hernández’s goals mattered and the ‘Red Devils’ progressed, leaving Olimpyque de Marseille on the road.  Sir Alex Ferguson’s men are unbeaten at Old Trafford in this season’s competition.

At Allianz Arena, Internazionale Milano came from behind to win on away goals

Bayern München was unable to take revenge from last season’s defeat in the final match, and was eliminated by the Italian side by means of 3 goals, courtesy of Eto’o, Sneijder and Pandev.

Brazilian keeper Júlio César however, managed to worry the Nerazzurri when hespilled a powerful Arjen Robben drive, and Gomez brilliantly hooked the loose ball back over his shoulder and into the empty net.

The aggregate score of 3 -3 favoured Internazionale, the UEFA Champions League™ holders and launched them to the quarter-finals.
