Manchester United: undefeated after 23 games

Still invincible

The ‘Red Devils’ march undefeated in Barclays Premier League after 23 fixtures and lead the table with 51 points.

Tonight at Bloomfield Road, Manchester United overcame a poor first half and a two-goal deficit. Ex-Red Devil Craig Cathcart put the Tangerines ahead before DJ Campbell made it 2-0.

I'll take it from here mate!

Dimitar Berbatov scored first for United after 72 minutes then Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez (on for the disappointing Rooney) equalised; shortly after his Bulgarian strike-partner completed the turnaround with two minutes of normal time remaining.

‘Chicharito’ has come up with several vital goals already in his debut season, which has made him a great sub in Sir Alex Ferguson’s scheme.  Berbatov leads the scorer’s table with 17 goals.

Our players just never give in. In the first half we were battered (…) we were terrible. Sir Alex Ferguson.

Rooney’s goal drought continues

On the next fixture, Manchester United will receive Aston Villa in Old Trafford.  Blackpool will receive the ‘Hammers’ who are at the bottom of the table, and current runner-up, Arsenal, will face Everton at Emirates Stadium.
