Lionel MessiLionel Andrés Messi received tonight at Zurich the Ballon d’Or™ awarded by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (“FIFA”). Messi was selected ahead of Barcelona team-mates Xavi and Andres Iniesta, who both won the World Cup with Spain last summer.
